In 2022, as a response to 2 years of the Covid-19 pandemic and its negative impact on youth mental health, the Krāslava municipality through its Children and Youth Centre has announced that the main goal of the interest-related education programme in 2022 is the improvement of youth mental health and well-being. The Krāslava Children and Youth Center is an educational institution of the interests of the intermediate administration, founded by the Krāslava County Council and subordinated to the Krāslava County Education Board. Krāslava Children and Youth Centre is offering to the school children and youth of the municipality participation in 20 arts education groups - folk dance and singing groups, painting, weaving, photography and others.
